is recruiting for their new future banker program

We are looking for students to make up our team of volunteers (5th-12th Grade).

Students will volunteer at the Park Avenue office of ONE FCU two Saturdays out of the month (approximately 8-12 hours total).

Our programs offer a blend of theoretical learning and practical experience in banking, customer service, marketing and much more!

  • Students must attend a school in Crawford or Mercer County
  • Students must be in the eligible grade going into the 22-23 school year
  • Students must apply and be selected to volunteer in The Centsables future banking program
  • Student and Parent/Guardian must attend an informational meeting on 06.15.2022 at Meadville Area Senior High @6pm

Get Involved…

The Student Volunteer Program provides experience, leadership and connections through hands on skills working for ONE Federal Credit Union. High School and Elementary students, you can be a part of something bigger than yourself and be given an opportunity that will help guide your future. This program is a great way to increase your financial literacy and gain valuable work experience.

Student Volunteer Duties

  • Assist the credit union in keeping connected with young adults
  • Serve as tellers, bookkeepers, computer operators, marketing developers, and member service specialists
  • Learn about confidentiality, professionalism, communication skills, and so much more
  • Contribute to financial literacy initiatives, projects, and events

Requirements

  • Requires a commitment from August 1st – July 31st
  • Attend mandatory financial education training
  • Volunteer MUST be entering 5th – 12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year
  • Maintain satisfactory academic status
  • Be a member of ONE Federal Credit Union and submit completed Recruiting Student Volunteer Application

Applications are now being accepted from May 25th, 2022 – July 6th, 2022 and will be carefully reviewed by our Youth Advisory Committee in deciding the students who will be chosen as Student Volunteers. ***Submit with a copy of your end of year report card.

Notification of selection will be made on or before July 8th, 2022.

Maximum of 10 / 5th-7th graders and 8 / 8th-12th graders selected for Student Saturday Banking Program. Student Saturday Banking Program youth will be divided into 2 groups that will work bi-weekly.
